We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The organization was top-notch, and before our check-in, the hotel reached out to provide all necessary information. They even offered a free shuttle service from the closest MRT station, which made our arrival stress-free. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the outdoor bath was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond whenever we had questions, assisting us with restaurant recommendations, taxi bookings. While the hotel is situated uphill, it's very close to the city center, just a few minutes' drive away. There's also a small supermarket within a 3-minute walking distance, which was convenient for any quick necessities. We will definitely come back next time!

- we were upgraded to a bigger room - the staff were lovely and spoke good English - there is a shuttle bus (recommended if you have luggage as it is up a hill. If you walk be careful as Google maps may send you up a long dark flight of stairs outside.) - the hot spring bath felt great ! Hot, opaque, sulphurous, leaves skin soft. - the breakfast (congee with various toppings) was typical and tasty - the room had two air cons, a tatami mat area, separate bedroom, two TVs with YouTube and some other streaming services, and a bath big enough for two, so we had lots of space - interesting mix of Chinese and Japanese aesthetics (more like Chinese taste with Japanese touches) - great value for money

This hotel played a big part in my trip to Taiwan, which was even better than I expected. I would like to thank the staff member Lin for her kindness and generosity in accommodating my hotel reservation mistake before departure. I would also like to thank the staff member who kindly greeted me when I checked in, and the gentleman who helped me pick up from XINBEITOU Station to the hotel. I also have a slight problem with my credit card payment at the JIUFEN store, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the staff member who willingly helped me solve the problem. A truly impressive trip to TAIWAN! I want to go again already! Thank you again.

Retro feel old spa town hotel. It’s not 5 star sleekness but is impeccably clean with comfortable beds, pretty and well kept rooms and private hot spring tubs in the rooms. The staff were very kind and friendly and allowed us to check out an hour late. Hot breakfast with great veggie options included in the morning and free access to an excellent coffee machine. Walking distance to the beitou public hot springs, markets and main shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for the price, private hot spring access and overall old-world charm. We had an amazing stay here.

The hotel is close to the thermal valley, which means that it's not close to the metro station. The hotel provides shuttle service from the metro station to the hotel but we didn't take it cos we wanted to walk a bit uphill as a small workout. Every room has its own thermal bath so you can enjoy your hot spring moment anytime you want. There is a convenient store within a few minutes walking distance and 2-3 small restaurants near the hotel. The room is decorated in a Japanese style which I love it. And the price is budget too.
